Below is a booklet titled Hervey S. Walker which describes  the life of one of Conshohocken's great philanthropist Hervey S. Walker.  It was written by students of Hervey S. Walker Elementary School in 1968. The school was named in Hervey's honor when it was constructed in 1958.  Hervey provided much of the funds and design for this school after the old school was damaged in a fire in the mid 1950s.  Hervey S. Walker Elementary School was renamed Conshohocken Elementary in the mid 1980s.
